Antoine Griezmann (born 21 March 1991 in Mâcon, France)
Antoine Griezmann is a forward, currently playing his club football for Atletico Madrid. In 2005, aged 14, he joined Spanish side, Real Sociedad. He signed his first professional contract with the club in 2010. Prior to signing the contract, he drew interest from Ligue 1 clubs Auxerre, Saint-Étienne, and Lyon. There was also interest from Man Utd and Arsenal. Griezmann made his debut in the Spanish first division on 29 August 2010, in Real Sociedad's first match of the campaign. In a post-game interview, he described the occasion as "fulfilling his childhood dream". Moving to Atletico Madrid in 2014, for a fee believed to be close to €30 million. Griezmann made his competitive debut in the first leg of the 2014 Supercopa de España on 19 August, a 1–1 draw away to Real Madrid, replacing Saúl after 57 minutes.
