Cuba Football Shirt Archive - A Visual History

Cuba were the first Caribbean team to make it to the World Cup. They did so in 1938 when they made it to the quarter finals where they were beaten 8-0 by Sweden. More recently they have had players defecting over to the United States national team. Football as a sport isn't so popular in Cuba, being beaten by sports such as baseball and boxing. As a result their football team has struggled to make a big impact on the world stage however in 2012 they won the Caribbean Cup.
