Germany Team Pride Neuer 1 T-shirt - Black

The start of Euro 2020 coincided with Pride Month . A wave of good will towards the LGBT+ community swept across the continent. Starting with their pre-tournament friendly against Latvia, Germany Captain Manuel Neuer sported a rainbow armband in solidarity with the community. In the build up to Germany's group game against Hungary, who had recently passed anti-LGBT+ legislation, stadiums across the country were lit in rainbow lights. The DFB said both gestures represented "the whole team's clear commitment to diversity, openness, tolerance and against hatred and exclusion."
