Cut from the famous ‘lanetta’ cloth just as it was 40 years ago, this official Nicola Raccuglia reproduction of the 1982 Sampdoria Home is made using the exact techniques as when the team were promoted to Serie A and tore up the division beating Champions Juventus, Inter at the San Siro and eventual Champions Roma at home. Samp acquired elegant Irishman Liam Brady and double European Cup winner and Britain’s first million pound footballer Trevor Francis. Later Graham Souness replaced Brady in 1984 wearing the same shirt as the team lifted the Coppa Italia with “I Gemelli del Gol” Vialli & Mancini scoring in the final. The shirt is finished with the number 10 stitched onto the back as worn by Brady and Mancini, and the iconic Phonolo sponsor screen printed on to the front.
