Copa Holland Home Rijkaard 3 Retro Shirt 1994 (Retro Flock Printing)

The Netherlands entered World Cup '94 on a way of optimism. They had overcome a tough qualification group including Norway and England, and had a great mixture of youth and experience at their disposal. As well as the a number of key players from their European Championship win 6 years before, they had the core of the Ajax team that would lift the Champions League a year later. Despite goals from Serie A icons Bergkamp and Winter the Dutch were knocked out by eventual Champions Brazil in the quarterfinals. National icon Rijkaard was part of the team that lifted the Euro 88 trophy. After dominating Europe with his club side AC Milan for the last 5 years he rejoined boyhood club Ajax in 1993 for a final swansong. The 3-2 quarter final defeat to Brazil would be his final game in the iconic Oranje shirt.
