The 12-13 Home Ivory Coast Jersey as worn in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations. This orange Puma Jersey features a unique interpretation of the team's symbol, the elephant, across its chest. The sublimation design presents the elephant with a flowing trunk that continues in an abstract linear pattern, akin to the linear design of the lower torso. The shirt's designer, Ernest Duku, comments "my intent was to harness the values of both traditional clothes and the elephant, by using the force and power of the elephant and the dynamic visual effect of the textiles..."

International superstars Didier Drogba and Kolo Touré took to the pitch in this redesigned jersey in their quest to earn their nation its second Cup of Nations title, but fell just short. 2012 marked the second time Les Éléphants were the runners-up in the Cup of Nations, having also finished second in 2006. They won the tournament in 1992, beating out Ghana on penalties.
