The new Home Arsenal Jersey from Nike. The 2011-12 season marks the 125th year anniversary for The Gunners, and they are celebrating this milestone with this special edition shirt. The modified crest is entirely white, bordered by 15 oak leaves, which represent the club’s 15 founding fathers, and 15 laurel leaves, which represent not only strength but also the design detail on the six pence pieces the founding fathers paid to found the club. Completing the crest, the motto “Forward” rests beneath the shield, bordered by the years 1886 and 2011.

Arsène Wenger’s club will sport this special edition shirt at Emirates Stadium for all Premier League matches during the 2011-12 season. With the emergence of young stars like Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere to join a squad already rich with talent with the likes of Andrei Arshavin and Robin van Persie, could this historic season be the year the Premiership Trophy is brought back to North London?
