Authentic Austria Football Shirts by Puma - National Team

Official Puma Austria football shirts available with player kit printing. Historically Austria have worn a white shirt with black shorts to reflect their double-headed black eagle coat of arms they use as their team crest. When the country was annexed by Germany in 1938 the team was disbanded and stripped of their colours. When they played a token "reunification" game against the Reich their star player suggested they wore the colours of the country's flag. After WW2 Austria returned to their original colours. In 2004 the team's manager Hans Krankl reverted the teams colours back to red and white to help create a stronger national identity.
