Official Juventus football kit for the Serie A and Champions League campaigns.
The Old Lady has returned in recent years, and she’s still singing strong. Juventus, the champions of Italy, combine with NIKE for another common black-and-white 2013/14 shirt.
Antonio Conte has won two league championships in a row and led Juventus to the last eight of the UEFA Champions League, losing out to FC Bayern. This time around, the Old Lady will be keen to emulate this success, beating the likes of AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli, and others, to the Scudetto, whilst also flying the flag for Italy in Europe.
And they’ve had spearheaded their fight for three-in-a-row with the signing of vastly experienced Lucio from Inter Milan and Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente. The Spanish striker didn’t have much joy at San Mames last season, but his goalscoring qualities were enough to convince Conte to thrash out a deal as early as January.
Llorente’s Juventus home shirt for next year will be a fine seller; after all, Italian football is still very complimentary to the old-fashioned centre-forward and the Old Lady have had plenty of world-class strikers in their history. Vice-captain Claudio Marchisio wears the Juventus 8 jersey and his dynamic midfield qualities make him a firm favourite in Turin. Conte also has the defensive stalwarts of Giorgio Chiellini and Gianluigi Buffon to call upon and improve on last season’s successes.
A sign of resistance against the CalcioPoli’s tribunal, Juventus were euphoric in celebrating their 31 league championship and there is an excellent range of celebratory merchandise for the Turin-based club. Sporting the same ‘Bianconeri’, this partnership with NIKE retains tradition, culture and possibly extra success and glory next season.
