Authentic Hannover 96 Football Shirts by Jako
Official Hannover 96 football kit for the current Bundesliga season, available with Bundesliga sleeve patches.
Hannover 96 will look resplendent next season in the club’s dark red home shirt for 2013/14.
The Reds have become a regular feature in the Bundesliga, generally, popping up around mid-table and on the fringes of European qualification. Last season was no different: a ninth place finish was a reasonable end to the campaign, before changes aplenty in the boardroom with Dirk Dufner of SC Freiburg taking over, as sporting director.
The club has loosened the purse strings during the summer transfer window to bolster their options for next season. An exciting, youthful addition is Borussia Dortmund’s Leonardo Bittencourt, costing just short of €3m and the 19-year-old will bring a different dynamic to a team normally built around pragmatism.
Stalwarts of recent campaigns, like Sergio Pinto, Mario Eggimann, Konstantin Rausch and Mo Abdelloaue, have all left for pastures new. Hannover fans will need to get familiar with some new faces and new names on their 2013/14 home shirt, including Bittencourt, Salif Sane and Edgar Prib, who have combined cost the club €7m.
Hannover’s JAKO home shirt is a tight-fit design, but a certainly a more easy-on-the-eye combination compared to previous kits. The dark-red/light-red balance has been struck, with bright and light red shorts, as well as, trimming around the top. In contrast, the white-focused Hannover 13/14 away kit is a more plain, basic design.
It definitely has the potential to be a hit-and-miss design next season at the AWD-Arena.
