Buy Manchester United Football kit, Man Utd Shirts and JerseysThe Manchester United kit is probably the world's best selling football kit. As the first club to properly maximize the huge commercial potential oflicensed club merchandise, the Manchester United shirt has become a pivotal product in the multi-billion dollar retail sports market. For most fans, the anticipation of a new season is heightened by the launch of the new Manchester United home shirt in mid-June paving the way for a raft of new MUFC training wear, T-shirts and other official Man Utd souvenirs. Mid July usually sees the launch of the new Man Utd away kit, allowing devoted fans suitable time to recover from the previous month's home kit purchase.
Manchester United, the champions of England, are embarking on an unique period in their history without Sir Alex Ferguson. Tradition is still intact, and so is Man United’s red Nike home shirt for 2013/14.
One of the ‘Super-Clubs’ in Europe, United’s record under the Govan-born manager was something special. They overtook rivals Liverpool in the overall Premier League victories with 20 and Ferguson’s 13th championship: there’s another Scotsman coming in for 2013/14. David Moyes will have the unfavourable task of rebuilding United without their legendary manager and keep-up the expectations of European success.
After the chequered effort for the 2012/13 home shirt, the new 2013/14 United jersey is a smart production from NIKE, combining the usual red colours with a black collar. Of course, United still have a long way to catch up with Real Madrid, Barcelona and FC Bayern, in terms of global superstars, but star-striker Robin Van Persie is endeared by the Old Trafford faithful. With 26 goals in the Premier League, it’s easy to see why ‘VAN PERSIE 20’ is a common choice for the Red Devils’ huge number of fans, from Salford, to South Korea. Speaking of the Far East, Japanese playmaker Shinji Kagawa might be the key-player next term under Moyes following his switch from Borussia Dortmund last summer and United’s Kagawa 26 shirt is almost definitely a popular effort for fans in Japan – in either Kanji or English.
Thankfully for United, they won’t have Usain Bolt up-front next season – but Moyes will have his eyes on Dortmund’s Robert Lewandowski. This could be their second buy of the summer after Uruguayan Guillermo Valera, and certainly not the last!
United fans might be unsure of whether Moyes can provide the right tools for success, but as always, Old Trafford will be the lion’s den of English Football and not many sides can compete with the sheer global power of Manchester United. The club certainly will have enough excellent NIKE merchandise on show for those in Manchester next year.
